Flea Market Cactus Plant Nike Apparel Collab


UPDATE (October 19, 2019): Nike revealed that she will launch the Air Force 1 made in collaboration with Cactus Plante Flea Market on October 21, followed by a six-piece CPFM x Nike apparel collection on October 28. The Nike AF1 CPFM By You will draw inspiration from the uptempo Air More Silhouette, featuring bold graphic lettering across the shoe.

Buyers will be able to customize their AF1 CPFM by choosing a nylon or leather tongue and choosing from seven different color reflective underlays for lettering on the left and right shoe. Three different graphic lettering options will be available – “Flea”, “Sunshine” or “Air” on the left shoe, while the right shoe will simply retain the word “Air” through all iterations.

ORIGINAL STORY (October 18, 2019): The ever-enigmatic Cactus Plant Flea Market has teased a range of collaborative Nike apparel via a new Instagram post. Encompassing a variety of sporty silhouettes, the capsule is anchored by CPFM’s latest Nike footwear collaboration.

Patchwork windbreakers, hockey tops, sweaters and sweatpants make up the range, available in a multitude of bright colors. Naturally, each item sports a wide array of stylized co-branding, including color-contrast square Nike logos, turtle graphics, “just do it” slogans and shape-inspired “AIR SUNSHINE” verbiage. the Nike Air More Uptempo.

The graphics are executed using a variety of techniques including puff printing, screen printing and oversized patches, giving a DIY feel to the offering. Inspired by school yearbooks, the lookbook teaser also shows models wearing the Nike Air Force 1 in black or white, some of which are CPFM collaboration models that feature the three-dimensional text “AIR SUNSHINE” on either side of the shoe.
